Resuscor, LLC strives to improve cardiac arrest outcomes, a national public health priority. Currently, cardiac arrest survival averages 8% in the U.S. One approach to improving this number is Targeted Temperature Management (TTM), the practice of “therapeutic cooling”, which has been shown to reduce post cardiac arrest mortality and neurologic injury.
Resuscor’s products are developed by emergency care, critical care and implementation science practitioners. The company mission is to improve implementation of TTM to save lives and improve patient outcomes in the emergency and critical care settings.
The Company spun out from the University of Pennsylvania through UPstart and is located in Philadelphia, PA.
